A Few More Letters — For a Few $$Dollars$$ More

Reports are in that to reach our goal of 1,000 letters to Gov. Deal there are 132 letters needed this week. Will you help? What it takes is a sheet of paper, an envelope and a stamp. Write a letter on your computer, use a sample letter from the ArtsGeorgia website, or just hand write a personal note. A few more letters will help insure an increase in state arts funding. The Budget Proposal calls for an increase of less than $1M for the GCA with one half allocated for arts education, and $1M in the budget for funds to reach the arts communities in all 159 counties. Your letter to Gov. Deal could be the one that is the tipping point.
